Hello, everyone,
With so much going on at the moment—Kings being crowned, prime ministers showing up at strange weddings, then giving cringing interviews to revolting British media types, not to mention the odd Budget in the offing—you would think there’d be a bit more activity around here.
Let me explain the relative quiet.
First, we took some time to visit our son, Noah, who lives and works in France, to see him perform, and I have to say we had a great time. Always lovely to see him dance.
Second, somewhere on the trip home I picked up a revolting virus (not Covid) and have been laid out for the best part of a week. Apart from being too sick to write anything here, I also had to cancel my Sunday gig with Tim Hollo and the independent member for Mackellar, Sophie Scamps, where we were going to talk about all things democracy at the Bookochinno bookshop in Avalon, and I was really sorry to miss that forum.
